Chi Chi from Dragonball is today’s warm up, at the suggestion of Rachel Ordway!

I mostly remember Chichi as the cartoon version of my mom, emphasizing learning over punching things, but I liked her most when she enters the tournament to beat Goku for being…well, Goku. Oh and when she makes go get his drivers license

Cassandra Cain, Batgirl, painted using some of the paint I had left in my palette from the Flash commission I just posted. Fun times, and I really like her. They’ve always had really interesting Batgirls.
Watercolor and Zebra brush pen on Stillman and Birn Delta samples.

The Flash commission completed! Another one of the $5 sketches is done. I hope the commissioner likes it! It was fun painting the water and I think I had some epiphanies with certain parts of the painting, but overall I’m happy with it. Onto the next one!
Watercolor and watercolor pencil (for beefing up some lines) on Stillman and Birn Delta paper. I definitely put this sheet through a LOT of punishment, but I think it still came out pretty good.

Work in progress shot of a Flash commission. I’ll likely finish it tonight. Watercolor on Stillman and Birn delta paper.
Water is tricky to paint, but I enjoyed the challenge.

Remember that Emma Frost I drew the other day? No? Well I painted it. I’m working on a Flash commission and I used some of the left over French Ultramarine to give some blue to the White Queen. Couldn’t decide if she was diamonds here or not, but was fun.
Watercolor on Stillman and Birn Delta samples I got for free at Binder’s in Atlanta.

Throwback Thursday, here’s a page from Uncanny Valley (2011) and Requiem Sonata from this year. It seems I still only write depressing stuff. What can I say, I love drama. Not real drama, that stuff is bad news.

Uncanny Valley was about a former detective named Zachary Frost who feels exiled in a giant space station filled with artificial humans, and his hatred for them is driving him crazy.

Requiem Sonata is about Simoné, a detective investigating the sudden death of a famous piano player, Zhi.
